FINALLY!  Fall has arrived.  And we as photographer’s couldn’t be more ready for it to make it’s appearance.  It brings with it beautiful colors, gorgeous light, cooler temperatures, and all around good moods for us and our couples!  Lindsey and Aaron were no exception.  We shot their lovely little esession at Bernheim Forrest.  This time of year is just amazing there.

Aaron and Lindsey have been together for over 6 years!  Yes, yes, you read that right…6 years!  They met way back when they worked together at the local cinemas.  A friendship turned into flirting, flirting turned into dating, and dating has led to this engagement.  I’m only *slightly* (OK…a LOT!) jealous that we are not shooting their wedding.  Why, you ask.  Because it is in JAMAICA!  Ocho Rios at the Sandals resort to be exact!  I told them I would stow away in their suitcase and take all of their beautiful pics if they would only just let me come along….but alas…they have turned me down!  :(

But we DID shoot this engagement session and we WILL be shooting their fun reception upon their return home…so for now, enjoy this first gorgeous fall session, and hold your breath waiting for the reception!

It was cold.  It was early.  It was perfect.  Because of scheduling conflicts it worked out best to do a “sunrise” session with Autumn and Joe, rather than our typical “sunset” time slots….but I’m so glad we did!  Yes it was early, and yes it was freezing cold, and yes there was lots of snow involved…but these two were troopers who were up for anything and I love how the final product came out because of it!

You guys were cuddly, cute, sweet, and perfectly in love.  It was fun to shoot, and fun to watch.  I hope you guys enjoy these as much as we do!

Autumn you have some of the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen.  And two watch you guys love and adore each other truly was special to see.  Your cute little spring wedding will be here before we know it and we couldn’t be more excited about it.  I am super pumped to hang with you guys again in April!  See ya soon!

I loooooooooooooooove this session.  Everything.  Brandon and Jenna are an unbelievably, unrealistically, incredibly, good looking couple, who are hilarious, sweet, loving and kind all wrapped up in one PERFECT package.  They love each other passionately and if anyone was looking for a perfect definition of love….they would look and find this beautiful couple.  AAAAAAHHHHH…..I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL JUNE!

Jenna has actually been stalking us for a while, so I’m not going to lie…going into this session I felt a large amount of self-inflicted pressure to make these pictures AH-MAZ-ING!  I mean this girl has been in contact with us for almost 2 years; being a champion for us, commenting on other’s posts, pushing us to get better.  So now that her time was finally here to grace the front of our camera….I was nervous.  Like really nervous.  It is important to know that Jenna applied none of this pressure.  She was and always has been incredibly encouraging.  I love brides like her that push me to be better.  Thank you for that Jenna!  And the result?  THIS AMAZING-NESS!

It took 3 tries before we got this session on the books!  Crazy weather this time of year!  But…finally, after watching the forecast all day and under the threat of more storms, we squeezed this one in!  These two are super cute together and completely in love.  We can’t wait until their late July wedding.

Oh how we love fall. The weather is beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking, and our couples are perfect! Nate & Tarra fit this mold exactly. They were both so adorably nervous, but we can’t figure out why. These two were rock stars both on and off camera and we are sure that after you see these pics…you’ll totally agree they had no reason to be nervous either!

We have been waiting forever to shoot in some tall grass….FINALLY we got the opportunity!  Nate & Tarra didn’t even hesitate either to jump right in!  And the result turned out to be some of our favorite engagement session pictures yet!  Hope you agree!
