When Joel walked up to do that last shot, the room erupted with laughter!  He is a “behind-the-scenes” guy, so rarely do you see much of this side of his personality.  But in just the mildest tone and manner he walked in front of the camera and without ever even a hint of a smile, he put up his sign and we snapped the shot.  In fact, you are lucky we grabbed it, b/c we were laughing so hard I can’t believe that the camera shake didn’t mess this shot up!  Thanks Joel…..you made our night!

The lights/video team at Southeast Christian Church is the best batch of people you could ever hope to be around.  We had a blast shooting them.  We laughed all night until our sides hurt.  Thanks for inviting us to this awesome night!  We look forward to next year!

Candace & Adam

Do you ever have those moments in life when you are around people who make you love just being in love?  Candace and Adam are exactly those people!  Their laugh was so contagious.  They chose to wait and see eachother at that big moment when the doors fling open.  So the whole day the anticipation was building.  And when their eyes finally met for the first time…it was nothing short of magical.  We think you’ll agree….

Stunning....just stunning!

Shepherdsville, KY.  We don’t even know where to begin.  Adam, you and your boys were just too much fun!  Candace, you have got to be one of the sweetest, most self-less people we have ever met.  It was her wedding day and she kelpt checking on us to see if WE needed anything!  Ya’ll’s (yes we said it) love for each other is inspiring.  We can’t wait to see what amazing things you guys are going to do together!

Kinfolk–

We love this big family!  After shooting this fam we were almost sad that they weren’t our family!  Here are a few of our faves:

Louisville, KY.   This group was just a riot to be around!  When editing these shots we were just constantly reminded of what a family is supposed to look like.  We admire your love for one another and envy the sense of humor you guys all carry.  Thanks for letting us be a part of your family, even if only for a couple hours!

Introducing: Avery Lynn

Wait ’til you check out these BABY blues.  Pun totally intended!  Avery Lynn even though just a few weeks old in this shoot has some of the most captivating eyes we have ever seen.  Beside her adorable little features, Avery has one of the sweetest personalities we have ever had the joy of coming across.  She is so even tempered and just loves to look around.  She was a blast to shoot.  Hope you enjoy!

This sweet little baby girl is just too darn cute!  She is so curious to explore this whole big world around her.  But she is all to cuddly too, and as you can see from the pictures above, her parents love snuggling with her too.  Thanks so much Jason, Jessica, and Avery; we hope you enjoy the pictures for a lifetime!

The Ultimate Sacrifice

This post is close to our hearts for many reasons.  First, this is family.  So of course we think that this family in particular is incredibly good looking.  But most importantly, we had the honor and privelage of shooting SSGT. John McKay and his family before he left to go to Iraq in just a matter of a few weeks.  Even as I write this, John is over there now, fighting the continual fight, for your’s and our freedom.  Hope you enjoy these:

It was a very moving experience for us to take this family’s last photographs before John left for Iraq.  We sincerely hope that these photos will bring comfort in times of lonliness, hope for a swift return, and memories that warm the heart while you guys are apart.  We love you guys, and know that you will be in our prayers often until you return safe!  HOORAH!!!!

This picture should be in National Geographic or Life magazine or something. You have captured a father’s love for his country and his family in a profound and moving way. This one goes way beyond words.

Thanks for posting this one, guys. Tears are rolling down my cheeks looking at it.
