brittany & kurt: married!

WARNING!  This post is on fire with hotness!!!!  Brittany and Kurt worked it out all day!  Their bridal party, family, and friends were some crazy kids who had some crazy fun too!  We had such a blast shooting these guys!  We could not have asked for better weather and it made for some awesome pics that we hope Brit and Kurt will love for a lifetime! miles_097miles_102  Brit, you are stunning!  She got this HOTT look from Twisted Salon in St. Matthew’s.miles_1561

These have got to be the cutest, chubbiest, sweet little cheeks we have ever seen on a flower girl!miles_183

Meet Jackson.  Jackson is Brittany’s son and the ring bearer.  Jackson is also one of the most handsome, crazy, fun, hilarious, adorable little blue-eyed boy’s ever!!!!  Oh yeah, and Kurt, you’re not so bad looking either!miles_231

Kurt, you’re a stud…..and you know it!  We love it!!!miles_2591

I mean….AYKM with this cuteness?!?!?!?miles_295

We love when bride’s keep it simple.  Brit’s dress was classy, timeless, elegant, and most importantly, GORGEOUS!miles_444

This is why we love what we do!  Capturing little moments like this in between the rush and busyness of the day of just the bride and groom loving each other like they are the only ones around! 😀miles_459

You need to be warned about the next few images!  These guys sure know how to throw a party and have a good time!  The food was AMAZING!  This reception was an open bar that started everyone out having a good time, but then real moon shine was brought out and before we knew it, 70 year old women were doing keg stands in the back!  We had sooooooooooo much fun!  I don’t think we have ever laughed this much in one night!  Thanks guys, you rock!!!!miles_739reception-montage  This was how our night ended.  Shortly before the bride and groom were scheduled to start making their rounds of goodbye’s, the DJ made an announcement apologizing for what was about to happen.  So with camera in hand, we rushed to the dance floor to witness this event that was to come.  We see the groom with all the groomsmen lined up on stage and as soon as the first note from Lynard Skynard’s Free Bird blared through the speakers, we dropped our jaws when we saw this…….miles_744  Louisville, KY.

Thank you guys so much for allowing us to be a part of this AMAZING day!  You guys rocked it out like superstars all day and we could not have been happier with how this day went!  Your family, the ceremony, the reception, your bridal party, your friends were all incredible and perfect in everyway!  Love you guys!

Raquel… these are absolutely fantastic!!!!! I feel like a proud Mom or something! And I am only old enough to be your Aunt! HAHAHA Seriously, I mean my jaw just dropped (like the pants on the groomsmen) on so many of these! 🙂 I mean from the very first picture you have posted…just EXCELLENT! The picture shot from above of the bride and groomsmen…to quote you..AYKM???? I want to see more!

Raquel - April 22, 2009 - 9:32 pm

Jules….thanks girl! But I must admit, the pic of the bride from above with the groomsmen around her…eric’s idea! Turned out awesome! We all worked our butts off, but we had a blast! Thanks for the love!

Felicia’s Married!

Just a couple weeks ago Brian and I had the HUGE honor of being a part of our good friend’s Adam and Felicia’s wedding.  This time… a tux and dress sans camera!  However I did manage to snag a few shots while us girls were getting all prettified with nails and hair and all that stuff.  But make sure you run over to Jason Ford’s blog.  He was their photographer for the day and….WOW….he did an amazing job!!!!  You will see the finished product of all of our (well my) long journey to look beautiful!

Allow me to introduce Felicia.  She was without a doubt one of the most GORGEOUS brides I have ever seen!  This shot was taken a couple days before the wedding, but I think you’ll agree her glow was already shinning through!jbb_2377

Felicia had has her Matron of Honor, Jessica.  You guys ought to know her by now.  You have seen her in previous posts, but you may know her better as Your Papermaid. But for today….she was 100% focused on the bride. jbb_2364

So now I have to tell you a hilarious story from the nail salon.  Jessica had decided she was going to buy the nail color she had chosen for her nails, as to be able to do any last minute touch-ups before the wedding.  Knowing this, a couple more of us from the Bridal Party decided we would go with the same color as well.  It took us all probably a good 10 minutes to decide on a color.  Once finally decided, Jess and I are in the pedi chairs, feet soaking, ready to be painted.  The lovely nail tech asked us if we had decided on a color yet.  Jess, so excited to show her our decision, knocks the bottle off the arm of the chair and we watch, almost in slow motion, as our pretty pink splattered all over the tile floor, walls, massage chairs…..EVERYWHERE.  Here is the aftermath….jbb_2341

Here are five of the seven Bridesmaids.jbb_2370

Obviously the salon could not get all of our nails done at once, so we had some time to kill so the next few shots are just some random fun. jbb_2396

No one knows how to laugh and have fun like Felicia.  She made it a blast for all of us!  Thanks again girl…..I’m glad I got to be a very very small part of your special day.  I’m sooooooo happy for you!jbb_2430

These last few shots are a few from the day of the wedding at the hair salon.  We had so much fun!jbb_2487

CONGRATS FELICIA AND ADAM!  We are soooooooooooo happy for you guys!  It truly was an honor to be a part of such a huge day in your guy’s life.  We are constantly grateful for your friendship and can’t wait to see all of the amazing things that God is going to do through you guys!  HAPPY MARRIAGE!

Much needed r&r….

So a few months ago the 4 of us that make up all angles photography decided that we needed to take a little trip to the west coast and sail on down to Mexico.  We cruised with Royal Caribbean this time and in times past, and we HIGHLY recommend them.  So here are some fun little shots of our adventures….

The next day in Mazatlan was a fun, touristy kind of day.  We lucked out and got an amazing tour guide who drove us around in a “Mexican limousine” all day.  He taught us a lot about the city, it’s heritage, and just showed us the beauty that Mazatlan had to offer.

everyone, everywhere was trying to sell us all kinds of stuff, Elizabeth finally threw one of them a bone and stopped to check out this lady

This looks like so much fun!

Wasting away again in…..Mexico?

Then it was off to the beach for a little fun of our own!  We had already decided that both of us needed some updated pics.  It is pretty bad when you are photographers and the most updated photo session is your wedding!  Anyway, that being said, we packed some coordination outfits and waited all week until we scoped out the perfect location.  And our patience paid off, the NH Krystal Resort, in Puerto Vallarta is AMAZING!  It was by far our favorite view of the sunset the whole trip.  The beach was secluded, and well, PERFECT!!!!  Here is a quick peek into our little impromtu session….hope you enjoy!

Mothers:  Be warned!  These are pics of your babies in love….AND SHOWING IT OFF!

Next, after a quick wardrobe change (into dry clothes) it was Eric and Elizabeth who took over the cameras and put Brian and Raquel in focus. (get it?  ha ha….we crack ourselves up!)  You’ll have to excuse Raquel’s crazy hair, but humidity and wind don’t exactly do wonders for it!  But none the less, here is Brian and Raquel’s session…

That is one steamy shot guys....
