The Product: Custom Designed Album

We’re going to be starting a new series on the blog of semi-regular posts showcasing some of our product.  Most of our packages include product credit to which clients can use to purchase any item in our product list.  Today we are going to be showcasing our most prized product:  our custom-designed coffee table albums.  We pour ourselves into designing these things, and they are nothing short of beautiful.

These gorgeous hand-crafted albums are made from some of the finest high-quality leather around.  The pages are 2mm thick and are guaranteed to last a lifetime from any defects in manufacturing or materials.  These are amazing albums that you will be able to cherish for a lifetime.  As pictures fade, or get tucked away as new family members or added, or updated pictures are taken, these albums are something that you will not feel bad about leaving out for yours and any guests that enters your home enjoyment for a life time.

We order these albums from Kiss Wedding Books.  They have some of the most outstanding customer service we have come across and they take huge pleasure in their customer’s satisfaction.

This album is a recently designed album for one of our favorite couples, Adam & Casey.  They love their new album, and we are sure that you will love yours!  For now, enjoy just a few pics that we hope do this album justice!

We Are Movie Stars!

OK…so not really, but you guys should definitely check out this clip. The guys who made this video are so disgustingly talented that it is unbelievable. They’re called Northernlight Filmworks, and lets just say if  any of us are ever married again, renewing our vows, or heck just having a family reunion these guys will be invited! So we beg you….please please please go check out their work. They are simply mind-blowning. They take a whole new approach to wedding videography in fact it is more like cinematography, and just some of the small clips they have posted have brought tears to our eyes. So go….go now and check them out.  Northernlight is currently developing a new website but make sure you hit up the weddings page and you will clearly see why we endorse them so strongly.

Brent & Melissa: MARRIED!

WHOO-HOOOOOOOO!  Finally September 12, 2009 had arrived and it was time for us to shoot Brent & Melissa’s wedding!  We were soooooo excited for this one.  It was in a new gorgeous venue, The Grand, with a couple that we already knew and loved hanging with!  Poor Melissa had a tough time getting to this day, what with getting the flu the week of the wedding, acquiring a fever blister two days before the wedding, and worrying if her daughter would get her cast off of her arm before Saturday (which she did…YEA!!!!)  But, GIRL, this wedding was GORGEOUS, FUN, SIMPLE, ELEGANT, and PERFECT for you two in every way.  Thanks for letting us be a part of this.

Yeah, you know it is going to be a great day when you walk in and see this…

I have said numerous times that there is always something that happens through the day that brings me to tears.  This is why we love our jobs…every wedding is special and unique, and we are just so incredibly blessed to be a part of something as beautiful as two people declaring their love for the world to see!  However, Brent & Melissa chose to do something especially sweet.  They not only exchanged breath-takingly beautiful rings themselves, but chose to place a ring on each of their kids fingers to show their commitment to their kids, and ask their kids to hold them accountable for the commitment they just made to each other.  HOW FREAKIN’ ADORABLE IS THAT?!?!?!  (let’s just say I was wiping more than one tear off my cheek during that part of the ceremony!)

Can’t you just picture how cute this little family will be for the rest of their lives.  The Grand, New Albany, Wedding Photography

We love the look on the bride’s face when she sees herself in the dress and all made up for the first time that day!

WARNING: the next few images may contain one incredibly SMOKIN’ HOT bride.  Proceed with caution!

I mean really?  Melissa could you be any more effortlessly beautiful?

We were so excited to put these two together again in front of our camera.  And once again….it was magic.  We hope you guys will cherish these photo for the rest of your lives together.  And that every time you see one, you will always remember how happy you were on this day!

We love you guys!  You two are the perfect examples of couples who we know will live happily ever after.  You two love better than any other couple we have seen.  You both have overcome some big obstacles to get here on this day, and we are so proud of how you guys have leaned on each other for strength and comfort.  Your kids are some of the most adorable we have ever seen and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you all are going to do together.  We hope you adore every photo for your lifetime ahead.

Nick & Zhaleh: ENGAGED!

We have never seen a couple who could make each other smile and laugh like these two could.  These two seriously laughed through the whole session....in a very good way.  Sometimes it can be hard to get the couples to interact and feel comfortable just being them in front of our camera, but not these two.  It was easy from the moment we got started. (or at least you guys had us fooled!)

Hope you enjoy!

Meet Nick and Zhaleh...(how freakin' adorable are these two?)

Nick and Zhaleh's first session they had scheduled with us was rained out, so I guess to pay us back, they decided we were going to have to do some work for this session....so hiking, climbing, and trekking through a stream were all part of this one!  But all the work was totally worth the results!  Thanks for keeping us in shape guys!!!  Anyway, one of the benefits of us holding the camera is every now and then we catch adorable little shots like this one.  Nick...you're such a gentleman!

Fun!  That is the best word to describe these two.  They were totally up for anything, and totally in love....which equals AMAZING pictures.  We were so bummed when the first session got rained out, but we had no idea what we were missing out on.  You guys are the type of people that make our jobs the best jobs in the world!  We cannot wait until your amazing, fun, adorable, sweet wedding in October!

You guys look soo cute together. a little over a month and you will be my sister Z, can’t wait. Love ya chica!

Brian & Jenna: MARRIED!

Finally the day had come.  Brian and Jenna were one of the first engagement session we had ever shot, and we just fell in love with them way back then!  We had been waiting for months and months to finally get to shoot their wedding, and this past Saturday…it had finally come!  Your guy’s day was everything and more that we dreamed it would be.  And we were just so excited to be a part of something so special.  So without further ado….on to the pics!

I know you guy’s hadn’t forgot about Jenna’s bling…but check out the full ensemble…

One of our favorite moments from any wedding is watching the girl…transform to bride.  There is something magical that happens, and it is just fascinating to watch.  Jenna, you made one GORGEOUS bride.

Graceland Baptist Church, New Albany, INGraceland Baptist Church, New Albany, INGraceland Baptist Church, New Albany, IN

Brian & Jenna was our second couple of the year to elect to do the “first look.”  We cannot say enough how much we love love love LOVE when couples choose this option.  We realize this may not be the option for everyone, but for those that are willing to try something a little different, the results are amazing.  We honestly strive to keep this moment very intimate and special, and most importantly, private, between the bride and groom.  And so far, both couples this year who have chosen this, we think would tell you, it was well worth every second of it.  The biggest advantage:  this is one of the only, if not the only, time throughout the day that you and your new spouse will be alone together.  It is a very special and emotional time….so just give it a thought…. 😉

Jenna will tell you how special and emotional this moment was…

The special reveal, and private few minutes of alone time is great…..but the extra time we are given to really take our time with the bride and groom is priceless.  So many times we, and the bride and groom, feel rushed to hurry to the reception….but with doing the “first look,” all of that stress is eliminated, and the bride and groom are free to relax, and we are free to ROCK OUT some AWESOME  images.  (it helps that Jenna and Brian are one of the most GORGEOUS couples we have ever had the pleasure of shooting!)

Guys, I think we were just as excited for this day to come as you all were.  And you didn’t disappoint!  Jenna, you were as beautiful as any bride we have ever seen, and Brian, not only were you pretty good looking yourself, but as true as a gentleman as we have ever seen.  You guys were a treat to spend the day with, and we look forward to hearing awesome things coming from you guys.  We hope we filled all of your expectations as well as you exceeded ours.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your big day.

We actually met Jenna through one of our other brides Casey.  Jenna was Casey’s maid of honor, and Casey was a bridesmaid in Jenna’s wedding. Shortly after we first met with Casey, Jenna soon called.  We were so happy to be there for both of you.  So…we couldn’t resist one little group shot.
