Nathan & Mariah: MARRIED! | Louisville Wedding Photographer

Not even two months ago, I posted this gorgeous engagement session.  I promised you then that there would be pretty things, pretty people, and a whole lot of awesome!  I can say that without a doubt, I kept good on my promise!  Mariah and Nathan chose one of our favorite locations downtown, the Frazier History Museum as the backdrop for their ceremony.  It’s got a beautiful city view and a fun and cozy spot, perfect for the reception.

From the moment we arrived, we could see that no detail had been left untouched.  There were sweet letters exchanged, personalized card boxes, hand stitched garter’s, and most importantly smiles on everyone’s faces.  This was going to be spectacular.

I hope Nathan and Mariah enjoy these images for years to come as much as we enjoyed taking them!  Thank you so much for allowing us to be a small part of it.  You guys rock!

STOP.  IT.  Too much gorgeous in one photo.

Mariah is not the first bride we’ve ever had who elected to do a first look with her daddy.  But I will say it was one of my favorite we have done!  So much emotion.  So much tenderness and sweetness!  This girl is a daddy’s girl to fullest.

It was an emotional few minutes for Mariah, but the next pictures show why Nathan is the perfect match for her.  While daddy was making her cry, Nathan was there to make her laugh.  These two just have a natural, easy way about them.  They make each other laugh, feel comfortable and know that each of them can totally and 100% be themselves and be loved.  Watching you two was sweet.

The way you look at each other…..yes.

Such a stud!

These guys….

Such a fun group….I won’t tell you guys what was sad to get their laughs and reactions in some of the following photos…but let’s just say, it’s one I’ve never heard, and one I’ll never forget!

My sister happened to be the Matron of Honor in this wedding, so naturally I’m a little partial, but I happen to think that this might be the prettiest 3 gals in the history of ever all in one photo!

And they’re pretty hilarious too!

I couldn’t resist just a few more shots on the roof after they officially became Mr. & Mrs.  So glad we didn’t pass this moment up!

Party Time!

Nathan & Mariah: ENGAGED! | Louisville Engagement Photography

We have been doing this photography thing for over 7 years now!  (what?!?!?!)  But there are just certain things that never EVER get old.  Engagement sessions for two people who are crazy in love is just one of those things.  I have known Mariah for a whole lotta years now.  She is my little sister’s best friend, and is also one of my favorite people in the history of ever.  This girl is beyond gorgeous, hilarious, driven, determined, HYSTERICAL and just one in a million.  I couldn’t be happier for her that she has found Nathan.  Her rock.  He is perfect for her.  Steady.  Strong.  (And hilarious too!)  These two together, magic.  I can’t wait for their wedding that is just around the corner!  There will be pretty things, pretty people, and a whole lot of awesome!  But for now, enjoy these pics…this is a small taste of the great things to come!

Zac & Maressa: 1 year anniversary! | Louisville Wedding Photographers

It’s our absolute favorite when our clients continue to come back to us.  Maressa and Zac are also some of our favorite people too!!!  We have been so blessed to shoot their engagement, their wedding, and now their 1 year anniversary photos!  And let me be the first to say, they seem to only get better every time!!!  We just adore these two and how charming they are together.  Can we please take your photos every year, forever?!?!  Or even more often than that?!?!  Because once a year is just not enough!

Nick & Sarah: MARRIED | Louisville Wedding Photographers

The wedding to end all weddings had finally come!  We had so been looking forward to Nick and Sarah’s wedding for WAY too long.  It was everything we hoped it would be plus a million things more.  Sarah was breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly excited  Nick was handsome, charming, and completely cool.  Their friends and families were welcoming, warm, funny, and generally awesome.  Outside of one small pop-up shower, the weather was perfection and everything turned out incredibly gorgeous.  We were so happy to be a part of such a special day.  We hope Nick and Sarah enjoy every one of these pictures for YEARS to come.  Love you guys!

In case you haven’t noticed by this point in this post…Sarah is BEAUTIFUL!

Your smile girl….seriously perfection.

These girls were so much fun!

Couldn’t find a cooler group of guys if you tried.

The suspenders with that smile….Sarah…you roped in a good one girl!

I think, it’s just a hunch, but I think Sarah is a daddy’s girl!

Love!  My favorite picture of the guys!

Sarah and Nick opted not to see each other before the ceremony but they wanted to do a “first touch” and exchange letters.  So while it was a challenge to get them in place without seeing each other (think blindfolds and walking up stairs) it ended up being such a sweet, precious moment.

Could there be a more gorgeous spot for a ceremony?!  And you’d never know that just 15 minutes before it started we were rushing through a rain shower!  Oxmoor Country Club provided great service and a great view!

Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs.!!!

Ok…I can’t even begin to describe my love for these two and their pictures.  They are so madly in love with each other that their smiles and sweet moments just show through perfectly.  I don’t even have words to use that would be adequate.  So…just enjoy!

Fourish ALWAYS does an AMAZING job with wedding flowers and details!

The father daughter is ALWAYS a sweet moment.

Things started out simple enough for the mother-son dance, but then it exploded into an incredible display of dance awesomeness!

I normally don’t include this many reception shots…and this isn’t even 1/4 of them!  But with a group this fun and this many dancing skills, HOW COULD I RESIST?!

One of the reasons we were so looking forward to this wedding was that Nick is a cousin of Elizabeth’s.  So to be able to be at a great wedding like this is one thing, but to be able to capture it and enjoy it with your family….THAT’S A WHOLE OTHER AWESOME THING!

The sparkler send-off!
