Martin & Meghan: ENGAGED! | Louisville Engagement Photography

I dare you to try and find two more adorable people on the planet.  Go ahead…I’ll wait.  (insert Jeopardy theme music)……..

Couldn’t do it?  I thought so.

Seriously, Meghan and Martin are so gosh darn sweet it will make your teeth hurt.  They laugh and aren’t afraid of being silly.  They are genuinely joyful people who honestly care about others.  When you talk to them, they listen.  They make everyone around them feel loved and like the most important person in the world.  There are very few people in this world who have that gift.  What’s more amazing?  That they found each other in this crazy world and both do it so unbelievably well.

It was honestly our joy to photograph their engagement session.  It started off as quite the frigid morning in downtown Louisville.  We came to the shoot all bundled up with ear warmers, hoodies and gloves.  Meghan…was rocking a gorgeous dress.  I was so worried for her!  Afraid she would keel over from frostbite, but talk about a trooper!  Meghan had prepared herself by saying that if those models on America’s Next Top Model could do a shoot in New York when it was below freezing out…by golly so could she!!!  (told you I loved this chick!)  So, what better way to keep warm than by snuggling up tight?  We had no choice.  😉

As the session went on, outfits were changed, location varied and poses were mixed up.  But what didn’t change was how much these two adored each other.  They make each other laugh like no one else can.  They were wrapped up tight in their little love bubble…and we couldn’t be happier about it!  We can’t wait for your wedding!  We need more of this cuteness STAT!

With those blue eyes…girl…you could totally win America’s Next Top Model!

Nathan & Mariah: MARRIED! | Louisville Wedding Photographer

Not even two months ago, I posted this gorgeous engagement session.  I promised you then that there would be pretty things, pretty people, and a whole lot of awesome!  I can say that without a doubt, I kept good on my promise!  Mariah and Nathan chose one of our favorite locations downtown, the Frazier History Museum as the backdrop for their ceremony.  It’s got a beautiful city view and a fun and cozy spot, perfect for the reception.

From the moment we arrived, we could see that no detail had been left untouched.  There were sweet letters exchanged, personalized card boxes, hand stitched garter’s, and most importantly smiles on everyone’s faces.  This was going to be spectacular.

I hope Nathan and Mariah enjoy these images for years to come as much as we enjoyed taking them!  Thank you so much for allowing us to be a small part of it.  You guys rock!

STOP.  IT.  Too much gorgeous in one photo.

Mariah is not the first bride we’ve ever had who elected to do a first look with her daddy.  But I will say it was one of my favorite we have done!  So much emotion.  So much tenderness and sweetness!  This girl is a daddy’s girl to fullest.

It was an emotional few minutes for Mariah, but the next pictures show why Nathan is the perfect match for her.  While daddy was making her cry, Nathan was there to make her laugh.  These two just have a natural, easy way about them.  They make each other laugh, feel comfortable and know that each of them can totally and 100% be themselves and be loved.  Watching you two was sweet.

The way you look at each other…..yes.

Such a stud!

These guys….

Such a fun group….I won’t tell you guys what was sad to get their laughs and reactions in some of the following photos…but let’s just say, it’s one I’ve never heard, and one I’ll never forget!

My sister happened to be the Matron of Honor in this wedding, so naturally I’m a little partial, but I happen to think that this might be the prettiest 3 gals in the history of ever all in one photo!

And they’re pretty hilarious too!

I couldn’t resist just a few more shots on the roof after they officially became Mr. & Mrs.  So glad we didn’t pass this moment up!

Party Time!

Nathan & Mariah: ENGAGED! | Louisville Engagement Photography

We have been doing this photography thing for over 7 years now!  (what?!?!?!)  But there are just certain things that never EVER get old.  Engagement sessions for two people who are crazy in love is just one of those things.  I have known Mariah for a whole lotta years now.  She is my little sister’s best friend, and is also one of my favorite people in the history of ever.  This girl is beyond gorgeous, hilarious, driven, determined, HYSTERICAL and just one in a million.  I couldn’t be happier for her that she has found Nathan.  Her rock.  He is perfect for her.  Steady.  Strong.  (And hilarious too!)  These two together, magic.  I can’t wait for their wedding that is just around the corner!  There will be pretty things, pretty people, and a whole lot of awesome!  But for now, enjoy these pics…this is a small taste of the great things to come!
