Trevor & Amanda: MARRIED! | Elizabethtown Wedding Photographers

We went into this wedding knowing the groom, but not the bride.  That is VERY rare.  Trevor was a groomsman in a wedding we shot a while back, and upon his recommendation to his beautiful bride Amanda, we became their choice for photography as well!  And we were so excited!  We always love seeing our “old” couples again, but when we get to meet great new couples like Amanda and Trevor in the process…it’s always a huge bonus!

Amanda, you’re gorgeous.  It’s pretty simple, you’re stunning, funny, sweet, and generous…OF COURSE Trevor fell in love with you.  And I know it took you guys a while to get past the “friendship” stage of your guy’s relationship, but judging from everyone’s comments and the speeches…they all know from day one that it was just a matter of time before you two took the plunge.

Trevor is full of passion, spirit, adventure, and a contagious zest for life.  He makes Amanda laugh like no other and she freely admits she is a better version of herself when she’s on Trevor’s arm.

We loved your guy’s wedding.  We loved your spirits.  We love you guys!  Hope you enjoy!

How cool is this?!?!  1912…and still works!

HHHHEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOO Gorgeous!

Love this!

Paul and Susie: ENGAGED! | Louisville Engagement Photography

Paul and Susie are the definition of cute.  Like seriously, they are unbelievably good looking, ridiculously kind and generous, and over the top in love.  They make each other smile, and while individually, I’m sure, they are wonderful people, together, they are perfect.  On their own, they are slightly self conscious in front of the camera as most of us are, but when they hold on to each other, they exude a confidence and a glow that is contagious and extremely photogenic!  We had such a great time spending the morning with these guys, and can’t wait for their wedding!  Hope you guys enjoy!

Hope you guys love these!  Can’t wait to see you guys again!

John and Elizabeth: ENGAGED! | LOUISVILLE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Elizabeth was just sure that this was going to be the most awkward experience and photos of her life.  John was very calm, cool, relaxed, and excited about the session.  While I usually try and side with the girls in most fights….I hands down give this one to John.  These are some of my favorite pics ever!!!  I probably chose entirely too many to put on this little blog post…but I just couldn’t narrow it down any further!  I am 100% in love with these photos.  Elizabeth is a GORGEOUS, knock-out, beauty.  And John, well, he couldn’t be any more smitten with his lovely bride.  He makes her smile when it’s most important, and its easy to see how safe she feels in his arms.  I have actually known Elizabeth for quite a long time and John, while I know you may have your hands full (just kidding Elizabeth!) I know you are the perfect man for the job!

These two had tons of fun and as you will see later in this post…they took some huge risk to get some shots…but I hope they and you all will agree….WELL WORTH IT!

Perfect Light?  Yes please!

John, I love how you make her smile.  Elizabeth, I like your smile!  🙂

I’ve always wanted to take pics on a hay bail.  Jonn and Elizabeth were totally down for it.  I was totally please with the results!

I love fall!

Seriously…how cute are they?!?!?

Seriously…how silly are they?!?!?

OK…so the next set of pictures are the AMAZING result of LOTS OF HARD WORK!  We eventually put our cameras down to help the two of them get in the tree, but for the moment, I had to capture this…and laugh!  But I think you all will see that all of the cuts and scrapes, and exhausting effort were well worth it!

Ha!

Definitely one of my favorite images ever!

Steve & Nicole: MARRIED! | Kentucky Wedding Photographers

A gorgeous fall day for a gorgeous couple.  Nicole and Steve have been planning this day for weeks, and now that it had finally arrived, they were more than ready to celebrate in big fashion!  Nicole made sure every detail was planned out perfectly, and all of her work showed so nicely.  The centerpieces were fantastic and most impressively, hand-made!  Steve and Nicole are such generous and kind people that everyone surrounding them on their wedding day knew that they were in fact the perfect match.  I hope you guys enjoy these pics!  We enjoyed every second of your wedding day!

Great shots of the couple! Keep up the good work!

Josh & Rebecca: MARRIED! | Kentucky Wedding Photographers

I’ll be honest.  I was a little nervous going into this wedding day.  We almost ALWAYS shoot an engagement session with our couples.  So come wedding day, we already know them, they know us, we vibe well with each other.  This was not the case today.  Rebecca and Josh had elected to not have an engagement session.  So going into this, I honestly didn’t know what to expect.  To my great, great, great JOY, Rebecca and Josh were AMAZING!  She is a knock-out, he is head over heels in love with her, the wedding was at a perfect fall location, and the result was BEAUTIFUL!  Seriously, we could not have had a better time with these two, and we are hapy to say we captured some of our favorite bride and groom shots to date.

So, in short, thanks for being awesome, you guys!  I hope you love these every bit as much as we do!

Such a sweet note…such a gorgeous dress!

So I love love love her shoes.  Rebecca did too, except for the fact that they were two different sizes!  LOL

Ummmm…..You’re stunning!

Those are the perfect flowers…in my opinion anyway.

Nothing sweeter than an emotion groom as he sees his bride walking toward him.  Love this.

Please proceed on for some of my favorite bride and groom shots ever.  The light was perfect.  Josh couldn’t take his eyes off Rebecca, and she just beamed with happiness.  Seriously, how do I get so lucky as to have the best job ever?

A perfectly themed fall reception.
