Well it was bound to happen….RAIN! In all of our weddings so far we have had a perfect track record….ZERO RAIN! That is…until April 24, 2010. And it didn’t just rain….it poured, it thundered, it stormed…ALL DAY LONG! But if this was going to happen, it could not have happened to a more flexible, in love, sweet, couple who were just excited to be saying, “I Do,” and it didn’t matter where or when, as long as at the end of the day…they were married.
They worked so hard into placing tiny small details all over the gorgeous, Rose Gardens of Garden Court. They went above and beyond to beautify every single spot in every direction you looked for their perfect day. My only hope is that you guys are as pleased with these photos as we are. We were so thankful to be a part of it!
How gorgeous is this place? If I were getting married again…this is where I would do it!
Jennifer, you’re stunning. Just thought you should know!
WOW. That is all that is needed to be said.
I LOVE the emotion in this next shot.
Dennis, you are a good lookin’ man. Jen, you are a lucky girl!
So because of the rain, the ceremony was moved indoors into a small hallway. But as Jennifer walked down the stairs, and into the hallway, the room lit up, and it was perfection. The tightness of the space, created a perfect little intimate ceremony that we won’t soon forget. You two packed it with emotion and love and it was beautiful to watch.
This was the first couple we have had that elected to write their own vows. They were beautiful, and this was just a small piece of the reaction.
And in the middle of a short break from the rain, we ran outside for some quick shots of them together, and you guys were nothing short of amazing!
You guys were wonderful. Most couples would have been crushed to give up their gorgeous, outside, dream wedding. But you guys just smiled it off, and happily said your sweet, personal vows in a tiny crowded hallway in front of your family and friends, and never gave it another thought. You pulled off a bright, happy wedding day, despite the storms outside, and we were just privileged to be a small part of it. Thank you for asking us to be your photographers. We wouldn’t have wanted to miss this for the world! And most of all, thank you for reminding us what it’s all about! Love, and happily ever afters. We wish you guys all the best!
