Shawn & Jordan: ENGAGED! | Louisville Wedding Photography

Finally…a day with no RAIN!  Well…sort of.  If you are anywhere near the Louisville, KY region, you are well aware of the non-stop rain we have been experiencing.  And while I am usually a glass half full kinda gal, who would normally be thankful for the rain and the life that it brings…as a photographer…I HATE IT!  We had rescheduled this session with Jordan and Shawn 2 or 3 times and had actually cancelled it this time.  But we got to looking and about an hour before we were slated to shoot originally, the sun popped out and we decided to go for it anyway and just pray the rain held off!  LUCKILY…it did!  Finally, some cooperation from the weather gods!

I rarely have a down-side to any of our shoots.  But this one is a little different.  They will be viewing this from Louisiana.  Boo!  They have both lived here for the majority of their lives, but a degree and a promising new job has taken Shawn down to the shores and of course, Jordan is following.  I hate when couples who we find AWESOME and would love to hang out with more decide to up and move away from us!  But hopefully…they’ll stay in touch really well!

They wanted a few shots of stuff trademarked to Louisville so that when those homesick feelings arise they would have some shots to look back on and smile big.  So I hope we gave you guys all you wanted and more.  I am super excited to show these off, and can’t wait to hear what you guys think!

I mean really…could they be any cuter?  They have a ridiculous ability to make each other laugh and relax in each other’s arms.  I’m so glad we were able to spend a little time with them and take some great pics before they up and moved.  I hope you guys are settling in well and I can’t wait to talk to you soon!
