Chip & Jackie: ENGAGED!

Do you ever see those sweet old couples that have been married for 50+ years walking down the street, hand in hand, focused on nothing but each other, without a care in the world except the other’s happiness?  You see those couples and you just say to yourself…that’s what it’s all about.  That’s where I hope to be in 50 years.  Then you smile and take your spouse’s hand and hold on for dear life.

That couple will be Chip and Jackie.  There were so many moments throughout the session where we would catch them making each other laugh, or just looking at each other with stars in their eyes and smiles from ear to ear.  It was sweet…and one of those moments where we again just felt overwhelmingly privelaged just to be around such inspiring people.

We started our session at Louisville’s historic Churchill Downs, and it was AMAZING.  We were blessed that Chip and Jackie happened to have a connection of a fraternity brother who worked there (Thanks Gary!) who got us into anywhere we wanted to go.  And after some quite frigid temps here in Louisville, we were worried about how the session was going to go, but we could not have asked for a more perfect location with perfect weather and perfect light.  So…enjoy!

After seeing the next two pics…you’ll know exactly what we were talking about in the opening couple of paragraphs.  Score one for LOVE…. :)

Yes…they are an incredibly well dressed couple…and yes Jackie is wearing some FABULOUS red shoes.  Again, could they be any more perfect?

Now it was time for a quick outfit and scenery change and off we went again.  This time Chip and Jackie decided to visit their old Alma Mater, University of Louisville, for some fun on campus.

After some hunting around we found an open lecture hall and just couldn’t resist a little fun in the classroom.  After all, you would never do this stuff in real life…

Jackie and Chip were also very involved with their respective sororities and fraternities.  So one more quick change and some fun outside of Jackie’s Sorority house is our adventure took us next!

A few last shots as the sun was fading on us around UofL’s landmarks is where we parted for the night.

Thanks Chip and Jackie for making us go home that night and want to cuddle up with our spouses.  After seeing you guys and how crazy about each other you are, we just couldn’t help but hug our loved ones a little tighter either.

You guys were so much fun to be around and we absolutly cannot wait until June for the big day to finally get here!  See ya soon!
