This post is close to our hearts for many reasons. First, this is family. So of course we think that this family in particular is incredibly good looking. But most importantly, we had the honor and privelage of shooting SSGT. John McKay and his family before he left to go to Iraq in just a matter of a few weeks. Even as I write this, John is over there now, fighting the continual fight, for your’s and our freedom. Hope you enjoy these:

It was a very moving experience for us to take this family’s last photographs before John left for Iraq. We sincerely hope that these photos will bring comfort in times of lonliness, hope for a swift return, and memories that warm the heart while you guys are apart. This picture should be in National Geographic or Life magazine or something. You have captured a father’s love for his country and his family in a profound and moving way. This one goes way beyond words.
