Wow! What a joy, we have been so blessed to finally get to meet our baby girl. Molly was born on September 2, 2010, weighed 6 lbs 3 oz, and was 19 inches long. She has a full head of dark brown hair. She is more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. She is OUR daughter!

Currently Molly is being monitored in the NICU. Since birth she has been having consistently low oxygen levels which require that she remains on oxygen through her nose, and breathing too fast. The doctors are not doing a lot for her otherwise and just trying to let her ride this out. They are continually telling us this is all extremely normal for a 36 weeker, her lungs just weren’t quite mature enough to work on their own. The doctors say Molly could be in the NICU for as little as 48 hours and could stay up to about a week, all depending on how she does hour by hour. At this point we still haven’t had to chance to hold our sweet girl in our arms, and are anxiously awaiting her to be stable enough to do so. Elizabeth is doing fine, and has been able to walk back and forth from her room to the NICU to see Molly.
Our baby is in God’s hands as she always has been, and we know that he will pull her through this. The doctors and nurses caring for her are doing a fabulous job. We truly could not be more blessed!
